Overview
We’re looking for a welcoming, customer-focused individual to join us as our next Receptionist/ Sales Associates.
You’ll be the first friendly face our members see — assisting with enquiries, creating a great front desk experience, and ensuring our community feels supported every step of the way.
You’ll also play a key role in growing our membership base — from engaging walk-ins and following up on leads to renewing memberships and introducing new members to everything we offer.
If you’ve got a positive attitude, a passion for fitness, and at least a year of experience in sales or customer service, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Duties & Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Greeting all members and visitors with warmth, professionalism, and energy
- Managing front desk operations including phone, email, and in-person enquiries
- Assisting existing members with bookings, account queries, and general support
- Delivering engaging tours for prospective members and explain membership options clearly
- Driving membership sales through walk-ins, outbound calls, follow-ups, and referrals
- Processing new memberships and renewals with accuracy and efficiency
- Supporting the onboarding of new members, ensuring a smooth and welcoming start
- Maintaining a tidy, organised, and inviting reception area
- Handling transactions, system updates, and membership paperwork
- Collaborating with the team to achieve monthly membership and customer service targets
Experience Required
- Minimum 2 Years of experience in a sales, customer service, or a front desk role
- Strong interpersonal skills with a warm and approachable manner
- Confidence in engaging with people from all backgrounds
- Sales-minded with a proactive attitude towards meeting and exceeding targets
- Organised and detail-oriented with good admin and computer skills
- Comfortable handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for health and fitness is a big plus
- Flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Team player who thrives in a supportive, energetic work
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with CRM or member management software
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems:
- Comfortable using online booking/scheduling platforms
- Skilled in email and team communication tools: Proficient in using email and messaging platforms.
